Faith and Ministry

Liturgical Life

At St. Jane Frances de Chantal School, the liturgical life is at the heart of our mission, fostering a deep connection to faith and community. Our students actively participate in weekly Mass and daily religion classes, nurturing their spiritual growth. Throughout the year, we celebrate the Living Rosary, Stations of the Cross, and Living Stations of the Cross, offering meaningful opportunities for prayer and reflection. Liturgical singing enhances our worship, while prayer services and outreach activities inspire a spirit of service. Sacramental preparation is a cornerstone of our faith formation, with our second graders preparing for Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, and our eighth graders preparing for Confirmation. The reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation further deepens our students’ faith journey, ensuring they grow as disciples of Christ.

Prayer and Reflection

Through special prayer services, retreats, and peer programs like Prayer Buddies, students are encouraged to reflect on their relationship with God, offer prayers for others, and grow spiritually.

Community Engagement

Faith in action is key to our school's mission. Students are encouraged to live out the Gospel by serving others, engaging with the community, and celebrating Catholic traditions.

"I find it very important to go to a Catholic School for many reasons like deciding what you want to be when you grow up, where you go to college, and many more things because of God. I find it important to continue my Catholic education because in the world I am coming into there are a lot of false teachings about God and the church. Attending a Catholic High School will teach me the right thing to believe. The other reason why I find it important to go to a Catholic school is because I am interested in pursuing the way of God and becoming a priest. I believe it is important to Catholic school so I may continue to learn more about my faith. Going to a Catholic school is also very important to me because I am a student-athlete and Catholic education helps me to always remember that my talents are all thanks to God. Catholic education is very important because it helps me to put all my trust in God and in his plan for me throughout my life it will help me to stay strong in my faith and always go to Mass every Sunday. The most important thing to me about going to Catholic high school is that I continue my faith journey and strive to be ever closer to Jesus."
